The Palau team is excited to announce the next African city to host an Andrew Palau Festival…Addis Ababa, Ethiopia!
Two years ago, an Ethiopian delegation of senior leaders joined Andrew at the Love Burundi Festival in Bujumbura to meet and pray about a possible festival in Addis Ababa. Now, a group of churches representing several denominations has invited the Palau team to help them host the Love Ethiopia Festival this November 16-17.
The outreach will engage the Church in Addis Ababa and the surrounding areas in sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ across their communities. Plus, four of our Palau Alliance evangelists will take the outreach to five other cities – making Love Ethiopia a truly significant time for the Church nationwide.
Ethiopia is a land of stark contrasts. It is one of the poorest countries in Africa and has a long history of political instability. However, it is also the oldest independent country in Africa, and many today view Addis Ababa as the continent’s unofficial capital. We have the opportunity to reach all aspects of the community from the highest levels of power to the poorest of the poor. You can join us in this extraordinary effort by praying for Ethiopia, volunteering for the mission team, or giving a financial gift.
