APRIL: Designated Month to Explore Internet Evangelism

Internet Evangelism Day is an annual focus day for churches, this year scheduled for Sunday, April 25. Leading up to this day, churches and individuals are encouraged to designate April as a time for exploring Internet evangelism opportunities.

Digital media have developed dramatically even in the brief few years since the first annual focus day in 2005. The use and reach of social media (the current most popular being YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter) has expanded exponentially. And the use of mobile phones to access online services is no longer an anomaly.

What this means is that sharing God’s Good News is now easier than ever. Resources abound. People are open. And news and information spread instantaneously.

The Palau team has compiled a host of helpful online evangelism resources for you and your church. Check them out and put them to use! May God be glorified as together we use technology to reach a world hungry for His Good News.

Internet Evangelism Day is an initiative of the Internet Evangelism Coalition, based at the Billy Graham Center in Wheaton, Illinois. It is supported by a wide range of Christian leaders and groups.
