Benefits of Membership
It is the Luis Palau Association’s desire to not only be successful in spreading the Good News today, but to raise up evangelists of the future to continue the work long after we are gone. The Palau Association works to make this a focus in all we do, and through the ministry of NGA, we are seeing this desire come to fruition. There are many benefits in becoming an NGA evangelist, but three main areas stand out as the core of what an NGA applicant can expect:
Collaborative Events
With the great success God has given the Palau Association, we seek to multiply our efforts and expand our reach even more to give NGA evangelists the tools they need to impact the world for Jesus Christ. These willing, gifted and passionate evangelists need connections, resources and hands-on experience. NGA offers a bridge to just such opportunities.
By working together, we can be much more effective in reaching the world for Christ and multiplying the impact of the Gospel. NGA works to connect organizations, foster unity among evangelists, and open new doors for ministry. We plan and coordinate collaborative events throughout the world – gathering NGA evangelists from numerous ministries and sending them all to the same region at the same time where each participant holds a series of evangelistic outreach events and local church leadership training.
Mentoring and Coaching
One of the most important goals of Next Generation Alliance is the mentoring and coaching of younger evangelists and ministries, helping to multiply the impact of the Gospel and continue the work of evangelism for years to come. This unique, ongoing approach to mentorship shares the resources and knowledge that the Palau Association has attained through more than 40 years of effective worldwide evangelism. • Personal assistance from top-level Palau Association staff
• In-depth specialized training from experienced festival and development directors
• Regular communication for leadership development and accountability
• Access to Palau Association materials, resources, and programs for their own ministry use
Training and Encouraging
As an added resource, the Luis Palau Association offers in-depth NGA training conferences and seminars. These gatherings help to equip evangelists and Christian leaders in key areas of ministry. Three areas of training are …
1. Extend the Impact Conferences Building off of the Palau team’s successful festival model for evangelism, NGA staff members invite city leaders and evangelists from around the nation to participate in our festivals, using the time to expand the vision of city leaders and connect them with NGA evangelists.
2. In-Depth Specialized Training and Mentorship Programs Free training intensives and mentorship by top level LPA staff offered on an ongoing basis
3. Schools of Evangelism NGA staff offer valuable resources and training in evangelism techniques through schools of evangelism worldwide, as well as Innovative Evangelism conferences held periodically in Portland, Oregon.
