Reaching Oudtshoorn with the Hope of Jesus

An initiative of Palau’s Global Network of Evangelists, this effort focuses on Oudtshoorn, nestled in South Africa’s Klein Karoo region of the Western Cape. A culturally rich and spiritually significant community, Oudtshoorn has more than 61,000 residents in town and over 95,000 across surrounding rural communities. It serves as a strategic bridge between urban and rural life. Its deep history of resilience, diverse linguistic landscape, and vibrant network of churches make it an ideal place for a catalytic Gospel movement. This initiative aims to mobilize the Body of Christ to share the Good News with over 15,000 people each day throughout a four-day week of activations and outreach. Together with GNE evangelists, African ministries such as African Enterprise, Kumbamba, and Message Trust, as well as local pastors and leaders, we will equip more than 400 churches and youth leaders for long-term witness and discipleship. We believe Oudtshoorn is ready for a fresh move of God—one that unites the Church, elevates local leaders, reaches young people, and ignites a renewed passion for evangelism. Our prayer is that this effort will inspire lasting transformation across the Klein Karoo region and beyond.
