Every person matters to God.

We believe that because of Jesus hope is possible for every person on the planet — now and for eternity.
Statement of faith
We believe in one God.
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death and atonement through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God.
We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, without error in the original writing, and the supreme and final authority in doctrine and practice.
We believe salvation comes through Jesus.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Spirit are essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life eternal.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ.
We believe in the spiritual unity of the Church, which is the body of Christ, composed of all who are regenerated through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is our story.
We're bringing the same Good News to a new generation. The methods may change, but the message remains the same. We proclaim a message of hope in Christ to millions each week—in nearly every nation on Earth. We will not waver from this calling.
Young Luis Palau accepts Christ at summer camp in his home country of Argentina and begins to dream of sharing the Good News worldwide.

At Bible College in Oregon, Luis and Pat Palau bond over their passion for overseas missions. They marry and begin their shared dream of reaching the world with the hope of Christ. In 1962, Luis becomes a U.S. citizen and serves as Spanish interpreter for Billy Graham during his evangelistic crusade in Fresno, California.

In 1963, Luis and Pat's eldest sons—twins—are born. All four sons, Kevin, Keith, Stephen, and Andrew, experience global missions firsthand throughout childhood. Luis holds his first large-scale evangelistic crusade in Bogota, Colombia, and begins his radio ministry.

Luis Palau's crusade ministry flourishes with 294,000 in attendance in 1971 alone. Luis Palau Association incorporates as an independent organization with headquarters in Portland, Oregon.

Thousands respond to the Gospel through historic crusades across every inhabited continent on earth, including Mission to London.

At a Jamaica crusade, Andrew Palau commits his life to Christ. Gospel momentum accelerates as the team launches into TV ministry and continues global crusades, including a campaign to the 127,000 in Hong Kong.

The seed of what will later become the Global Network of Evangelists is planted as 70 evangelists gather at Palau's international headquarters in Portland.
Kevin and Andrew Palau guide the innovation from the crusade model to a new vision for outdoor "festivals," setting an attendance record for Waterfront Park in Portland, Oregon.

Andrew Palau's ministry as an evangelist takes off, multiplying Palau's impact around the world. Plans are initiated for Andrew and Wendy Palau's long-term ministry in Africa. Luis reaches a record 850,000 people in person during a festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Kevin Palau and the team forge an unprecedented relationship with civic leaders in Portland, mobilizing widespread, unified service efforts. A vision for collaborative, sustainable evangelism in cities takes shape and will later become known as City Gospel Movements.

In one of our organization’s biggest steps of faith, the team spends much of the year ministering to New York City, including events in Central Park, Times Square, and Radio City Music Hall.

In January, Luis Palau is diagnosed with stage 4B lung cancer and begins treatment. Still very much full of life and faith, Luis ministers as he is able and works on his spiritual memoir—Palau: A Life on Fire.

As the Covid-19 pandemic puts a pause on festivals, Palau invests in sharing the hope of Jesus with millions online.

On March 11, Luis Palau passes away. Throughout his life, Luis proclaimed the Gospel in more than 80 nations, sharing the Good News with more than 1 billion people through television, radio, print, and live events.

Palau celebrates its largest Gospel reach in any single year of the organization’s history, having presented the Good News to over 15 million people worldwide.

Today.
Today Palau remains steadfastly committed to invite people everywhere to begin a relationship with the Living God. We rejoice that God is moving through the team and the faithful support of friends like you. Imagine what God will do as we come together!
