God moved mightily in Nairobi, Kenya.

Love Nairobi Festival proved to be yet another powerful example of God’s grace and favor over our evangelistic work. Uniting thousands of local churches over a two year process, this campaign helped saturate 6 cities with the clear Good News and led more than 37,790 people to indicate a decision to follow Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord!

God used this festival to share the Good News with more than 346,000 people in person.

You can enjoy the video report of the Love Nairobi Festival above and read the full report below! Several hundred churches, in partnership with the Luis Palau Association, brought this powerful evangelistic event to Nairobi. The festival featured music, kid’s activities, and stunt demos, all including multiple presentations of the Gospel.

“We are seeing all churches, big and small, coming together, and they are working to reach the whole city.”
– Reverend Dr. Bishop Karita Mbagara

The Love Nairobi campaign included more than 160 outreach events over a 2-week period. It culminated in a massive 3-day festival in the heart of Nairobi, complete with live music from local favorites Evelyn Wanjiru, Pompi, Christafari, Jabidii, Moji Short Babaa, Sovereign, Eko Dydda, Mercy Masika, King Kaka, and more; action sports (in partnership with The Stunt Dudes), and a children’s area full of family fun.

Andrew shared the Good News with the crowd each night, while thousands of local believers (who were trained by our team) helped counsel and follow up with each new believer at the festival.

“It is the heart of God to see men, women – young and old – coming to the kingdom.”
– Reverend Dr. Grace Manjau

As is the case in all Palau campaigns, ministry partners stood with us to help saturate the city. Empowering local evangelists and believers with tools and opportunities, they helped spread the Word in prison outreaches, eyeglass clinics, school assemblies, sports tournaments, and through evangelistic dinners for key groups of individuals.

Wendy also joined Andrew in preaching the Gospel at several of the events, including at the prison outreaches and at a women’s dinner (with the First Lady of the nation Her Excellency Rachel Ruto sharing her testimony).

“This festival has come at the right time, for the right purpose, and for the right group of people.”
– Bishop Stephen Mutua

In addition to the Love Nairobi festival, Andrew and Wendy invited partner evangelists – from 19 nations – to help spread the Good News throughout the surrounding area, partnering with local churches to hold evangelistic festivals and gatherings in the cities of Nanyuki, Karatina, Embu, Murang’a, and Machakos. This effort came to be known as the Love Kenya Campaign that took place from May to September 2023.

Fostering collaborations with 1,000+ churches from across these five towns, we helped orchestrate citywide evangelistic campaigns that reached 216,097 individuals in person, with an additional 28,505 people making first-time decisions to follow Christ. We are praising God for this harvest!

Praise God for the great harvest through the Love Nairobi Festival with Andrew Palau, as well as the wider Love Kenya campaign. And praise God for the work He will continue to do through the unity, partnership, and excitement initiated by this campaign.

In total, Love Kenya encompassed more than 200 evangelistic events and reached more than 648,000 people with the Good News. And best of all, more than 69,980 individuals responded to the message of Hope.

We touched and encouraged a region in a powerful way. And your partnership helped make it all possible.

Join us as we continue to pray that the unity established through the Love Nairobi Festival continues to reach all throughout the region, encouraging more citywide outreach efforts and ongoing service initiatives throughout Kenya. Pray also for those who made commitments to Jesus Christ through this effort, that they would continue to be led by the Lord and be encouraged in their new-found faith.
