Pioneering a Gospel Sharing Space at SXSW

Thousands were reached with the Gospel at SXSW in Austin, Texas!
On March 9-10, we took over the iconic Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin, Texas, to create a unique space at SXSW where innovation met inspiration. Over the weekend, attendees experienced powerful live music, insightful conversations led by Christian industry experts, and a clear Gospel message from Andrew Palau.
SXSW draws some of the brightest minds from tech, film, music, and business, making it a melting pot of ideas and cultural trends. Many of its attendees are unchurched, seeking meaning and purpose in a sea of “next big things.” Sunday SVC at SXSW sought to meet them where they are, offering not just conversations about the future but the hope and love of a relationship with God, who created them to be innovators and world-changers.
In the days leading up to the event, hundreds of local believers hit the streets to promote Sunday SVC and share the Good News. Through these efforts, 417 people were prayed for right there on the streets of Austin, opening their hearts to what God had in store during the weekend.
At Sunday SVC, attendees engaged in meaningful discussions on faith, work, film, mental health, second chances, and more. Combined with live music and authentic conversations, the event broke down barriers and introduced many to God’s transformative love.
We are praising the Lord for the opportunity to share the Gospel at such a secular yet influential event. Thank you for your prayers and partnership in this unique outreach—your support made this life-changing weekend possible!
Sunday SVC jump-started and strengthened my faith. It was both the push and the safe space I needed to start reconnecting and re-engaging with the world around me. It was incredible meeting believers from around the world. And seeing what He's doing out there… Sunday SVC reminds me that I'm not alone, and gives me renewed courage, confidence, and boldness to start sharing my faith more openly.

We shared the Good News through these strategies and more!
