Panama Festival: Lives Changed, Churches United, Gospel Proclaimed
Impact
Highlights

After more than 30 years, Palau returned to Panama for a unified, area-wide evangelistic campaign.
This massive effort included a variety of events designed to reach every sector of society and culminated in a free, family-friendly festival in Panama City. Over the course of the week, the campaign brought the Good News to more than 150,000 people in person, extending its reach throughout Latin America via social media, radio, and television.
The campaign’s impact was broad and personal. Andrew Palau engaged with government leaders, including the President and Vice President of Panama, and shared the Gospel with 400 police cadets. Wendy Palau ministered to 85 women in a local prison and shared her testimony with over 900 women at a special dinner, where more than 450 said “YES!” to Jesus.
Thousands were reached at affinity events that engaged women, business leaders, prisoners, immigrants, and more. In total, 9,623 people responded to the Gospel during the week.
The two-day festival, held March 1-2, featured performances by Ingrid Rosario, Redimi2, and others. A dedicated children’s zone provided games, activities, and a Gospel program. The festival also offered medical and humanitarian services, including hygiene supplies, clothing, food, and specialized healthcare.
This campaign not only changed lives but also strengthened the unity of local churches. It affirmed the call to saturate the region with the Gospel, laying a foundation for future outreach. Let us pray for continued unity, ongoing service initiatives, and lasting transformation in Panama.
I met a woman on the edge of eternity. Battling cancer… she was invited to the women’s dinner and she said yes. As I shared the Gospel she looked at me with such peace. Afterward I asked if she prayed with me to receive Christ… her answer: YES. Sometimes events are for one person. Over 100 responded…but this woman will probably see Jesus before I do. The night was for her.
