Today we visited prisoners and migrant men and shared the Good News with many who needed to hear how to find hope in Jesus. There is nothing better than seeing people come to know the Lord. We are so honored to do this work!

“Today will stay with us for a long time. A group of migrant men… men with a past…men needing a new future… men who are running FROM things and running TO things …. Said yes to Jesus. So many tears.. broken lives that can only be restored by the power and presence of the King of Kings. The Gospel is powerful! And the love of Jesus changes lives!” —Wendy

During tonight’s women’s dinner here in Panama, all themed around “Stories of Hope,” Wendy took to the stage to share her personal story of finding hope in God during some of her darkest moments. She poured out her heart to encourage those in the room, and as a result, more than 100 women said yes to receiving salvation in Jesus!

”I met a woman on the edge of eternity. Battling cancer… she was invited to the woman’s dinner and she said yes. As I shared the Gospel she looked at me with such peace. Afterward, I asked if she prayed with me to receive Christ… her answer: YES. Sometimes events are for one person. Over 100 responded… but this woman will probably see Jesus before I do. The night was for her.” —Wendy

Today’s meeting of pastors and leaders was inspiring. The unity of churches here is a beautiful thing and the reason why we are able to host a festival here this weekend.

Tuesday, February 27

Tonight was the Business and Civic Leaders dinner where we were joined by many leaders, even the Vice President of Panama and his wife attended. We saw breakthrough and people experiencing the love of God as they heard the Gospel. This is why we do what we do! Please keep praying for our time in Panama.

This morning, Wendy shared the Good News with women at one of the prisons here.

“Spiritual freedom does not depend on where you are, it depends on letting Jesus break the chains,” shared Wendy.

Be praying for the women, that their faith is sustained by the hope of God and for their lives to be forever changed by Jesus.

And pray for the business dinner happening tonight. We can’t wait to update you on all that is coming up here in Panama!

Monday, February 26

We have only been here in Panama for one full day, yet the Lord is showing His faithfulness as He has guided us—and continues to guide us—in sharing the hope we have within us.

I was able to meet with the President and share with him about Dad and his lasting impact and legacy, not only on me and my faith but on people around the world. Our conversation allowed me to share my story of restoration and forgiveness through God. And I made sure he heard our vision for this week, of reaching people with hope and serving them in Jesus’ name, all leading up to the festival this weekend. We agreed on the importance of bringing hope to all who live in Panama. I am praising the Lord for his positivity and camaraderie.

Through God’s provision, I shared the Good News with hundreds of police cadets, and more than half of those who were there indicated a decision for Christ. This is what we’re here for! Seeing the Kingdom grow as God draws people to Himself. The cadets were enthusiastic with their response—pray for them as they embark on their new faith journey in Jesus.

Women from all over Panama came out tonight to our Stories of Hope event, where Wendy shared her personal story of hope. It was such a fruitful evening! The night included beautiful live music from Marisol Park. Wendy invited all who were there to respond to the Gospel and surrender their life to Jesus. As she shared, people felt God’s presence and how He cares individually for each of them.

Keep praying for us—we appreciate your prayers and feel them as God continues to move and show us His power to bring people into His family through something as simple as us sharing our stories of His love, grace, and forgiveness. People are experiencing hope, and we are so thankful to have a part in it!

Nothing gets me more excited than this. Partnering with hundreds of churches. Sharing the Good News with an entire nation. Reaching the lost with God’s love . . .

What an honor to be used by God!

That’s the privilege you and I have on a daily basis. We are partners in ministry. And I’m thrilled to once again share the Good News through a powerful festival campaign in Panama this upcoming week (February 26 – March 2).

This festival is all set. It’s going to be great. The locals are thrilled. They are expecting the Lord to move in powerful ways. Wendy and I are prepared and expectant as well.

There’s just one last element that I’m praying God will lead you to help with. We need your partnership to help with the critical follow-up for all the decision makers.

This two-day festival – right in the heart of Panama City – will proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ on a massive scale.

Our goal is to share the Good News with everyone! That’s why . . . in addition to the festival . . . we’re holding multiple evangelistic outreaches and gatherings throughout the region in the week leading up to the festival.

We plan to reach every sector of society – from prisoners to the nation’s elite.

Not only that, using radio, television, and social media, the Gospel will go out to all of Panama and into the rest of Latin America.

Each one of these elements will result in changed lives. And each individual will be followed up in a personal and relevant way. This is where we need your help.

For the thousands of individuals who will commit their life to the Lord through this campaign, we have God-honoring, critical resources we want to get in their hands. In addition to receiving a full copy of the New Testament, these new believers will also receive an encouraging 7-week, 50-day devotional series developed by our team.

Not only that, they will also be connected to a local believer for immediate prayer and encouragement as well as a local church to continue the important discipleship process.

This is such an essential aspect of this ministry in Panama, and the last piece we need to put in place for this campaign. I’m praying you’ll help.

It takes just $5 to provide these crucial discipleship resources for one new believer . . . just $30 provides follow-up resources for 6 individuals.

Please give a gift today. The Lord wants to use you to bless Panama with the Good News. He wants to use you to encourage the thousands of new believers who will come from this festival.

Thank you for your heart for the lost. Thank you for helping God’s people grow in their faith. And thank you for allowing us to continue partnering with you to impact the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

I look forward to hearing back from you. Please don’t delay. The festival is just a few days – March 1 and 2. And as soon as it’s over, we will begin the follow-up and discipleship process that you will make possible.

Until everyone hears,

—Andrew Palau

Galatians 2:20

P.S. Please don’t miss this opportunity to partner together and offer this critical discipleship and follow-up to new believers from the Panama Festival. Your gift today will be used immediately to encourage and bless them in their newfound faith.
